Club Management

The "off pitch" management of a community club can be a daunting task. The decision whether to register as a limited company, charity or Community Amateur Sports Club requires careful consideration. Ensuring the club has the correct insurance cover, complying with Health and Safety legislation, applying for planning permission and funding and so on are time consuming and sometimes specialist tasks.

The most effective and efficient road to improvement is planning. By formulating a Club Development Plan including short, medium and long term aims and objectives you will be able to prioritise club projects and associated funding and hence achieve your goals.

To assist you through these and other essential management processes we have provided a range of guidance notes for you to refer to and a check list to assist you to work towards efficient and effective club management.
